International technology group Andritz has successfully started up another PrimeLineCOMPACT S 1800 tissue machine at the Xuan Mai Paper mill in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The first Andritz tissue machine supplied to Xuan Mai has been in operation since 2020.
This new tissue machine produces high-quality tissue grades from either 100% virgin or 100% deinked pulp (DIP) at a capacity of 72 admt/d. It has a design speed of 1,800 m/min and a width of 2.85 m. Andritz stock preparation equipment ensures a consistent supply of high-quality pulp to the tissue machine, while keeping energy consumption to minimum. Andritz also supplied automation systems as well as process pumps, fan pumps and multistage pumps.
