International technology group Andritz has successfully started up another pressurized refining system at the Wisewoods mill in Phetchaburi, Thailand.
The new system produces fibers from rubberwood for high-quality medium density fiberboard, significantly increasing the mill’s production capacity. The heart of the 30 t/h system is the high-efficiency pressurized refiner, which delivers superior fiber
quality at reduced energy consumption. Andritz also supplied a plug-screw feeder designed to optimize dewatering prior to refining, ensuring efficient pre-steaming and reducing specific energy consumption.
