U.S. kitchen cabinet sales down 5.7% in February

Cabinet manufacturers reported overall cabinet sales of were down 5.7% for February 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA).

The total sales reported by respondents for February 2025 amounted to $187.5 million. Custom sales accounted for $51.2 million, reflecting 4.1% year-on-year decrease.

Semi-custom sales saw a decrease of 2.4%, amounting to $105.8 million, and stock sales down 17.9%, reaching $30.5 million.

The year-to-date sales for survey participants also decreased by 5.5% to $368.8 million in February 2025. Custom sales contributed $98.7 million, or 3.8% decline; semi-custom sales reached $208.7 million, down 2.6%, and stock sales amounted to $61.4 million, or 16.1% drop.

The estimated sales for the overall market in February were reported at $1.92 billion. For the year-to-date period, the overall market estimated sales were $3.82 billion.
