US imports of wooden furniture grew by 9% in October but were still 10% less than that of the previous October, as ITTO reported.

Slowing imports from China was the main reason for the decline. Imports from China were down by 3% in October and are lagging 2018 by 27% year to date.

Imports from are other leading trading partners were up in October and are ahead of last year’s year to date totals.
