Stockhult Holding AB signs an agreement with Setra Trävaror AB to acquire all shares in Rolfs såg AB in Kalix kommun, Sweden. The entry will take place no later than 1 December 2020.
The assessment is that Rolfs såg has very good development opportunities and Stockhult Holding sees great synergies with, among other things, its sawmill in Glommersträsk. The ambition is to resume operations in Rolfs såg during December 2020. The restart of operations will mean several new jobs in Kalix kommun.
“As we have for a long time had difficulty being able to fully meet the demand of both existing and new customers, we see the acquisition of Rolfs såg as an enabler to increase production - and thus increase our delivery capacity in the short and long term,” says Stockhult Holding's Paul Björnsson.
Stockhult Holding AB is a small privately owned investment company with a focus on operations in wood transformation.
