Snavely Forest Products has appointed Bill Georgelis as vice president of its Eastern Operations. Georgelis, who has 32 years of industry experience, will direct operations, strategic initiatives, and business development across the eastern region, according to Snavely Forest Products.
Georgelis joined Snavely in 2014 and previously held leadership positions, including sales manager and general manager at the Westminster, Maryland location. Snavely's executive vice president Carl Lamb stated Georgelis demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the company's values, making him well-prepared to lead the eastern operations.
Snavely Forest Products, a subsidiary of MacArthur Company, specializes in wholesale building materials and has been a key distributor of specialty building products for over a century. Based in Pittsburgh, the company serves a diverse range of customers with products including engineered wood, composite decking, and siding solutions.
