Euro 7.4 million of roundwood was purchased from Slovenian private  owners in April 2023, which was about 17% less than a month before (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased roundwood), according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs decreased by about 14% and of pulpwood by about 33%. The values of fuel wood and of other industrial roundwood were also lower (both by about 16%).

Compared to April 2022, the value of roundwood purchased from private owners increased by about 27%. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs increased by almost 25%, of pulpwood by about 33% and of wood fuel by almost 17%. Higher was also the value of purchased other industrial roundwood.
