Euro 4.6 million of roundwood was purchased from Slovenian private owners in April 2024, which was about 8% less than a month before (mostly due to lower average prices of purchased roundwood), according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia.
The value of purchased wood fuel went down by about 30%, of other industrial roundwood by about 21% and of sawlogs and veneer logs by almost 9%. On the other hand, the value of purchased pulpwood was about 14% higher than a month before.

Compared to last April, the value of roundwood purchased from private owners decreased by about 38% (due to a decrease in both quantities and average prices of purchased roundwood).
The value of purchased wood fuel decreased by about 49%, of pulpwood by about 44%, of sawlogs and veneer logs by about 36% and of other industrial roundwood by almost 34%.
