Compared to last February, the value of roundwood purchased from Slovenian private owners was lower by 19.4%, according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia.
The value decreased in all categories, most substantially of fuel wood (64.6%) and other industrial pulpwood (57.1%). The value of sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by 13.4%.
Compared to January, the total value of roundwood purchased from private owners decreased by 0.3%. The value of purchased fuel wood was lower by a quarter and of sawlogs and veneer logs by 0.7%. On the other hand, the value of pulpwood and other industrial roundwood increased.
