Euro 3.7 million of roundwood was purchased from Slovenian private owners in December 2022, which was about 38% less than a month before (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood). The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs decreased by about 44%, of pulpwood by almost 17%, of wood fuel by about 47% and of other industrial roundwood by about 36% , according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia. 

Compared to December 2021, the value of roundwood purchased from private owners increased by 23%. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was slightly higher (by about 1%). The value of purchased pulpwood was higher by about 69%, and of wood fuel by about 105%. Higher was also the value of purchased other industrial roundwood.
