In February 2020, Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners was almost 9% lower than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
In comparison with January 2020, the value of purchased pulpwood went down by more than 19% and of wood fuel by almost 23%. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by less than 5% and of other industrial roundwood by more than 5%.
In February 2020 the value of roundwood purchased from private owners was more than 27% higher than in February 2019. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was almost 40% higher than in the same month in the previous year. Higher was also the value of purchased wood fuel (by 30%) and other industrial roundwood (by almost 24%). The value of purchased pulpwood was almost 25% lower.
