Safwood to launch OSB production in Russia in 2012
May 20, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Italian Safwood company is planning to start OSB production in Russia in February 2012. The company is already constructing the mill in Komi Republic, as the company's business plan says.
According to the business plan, the project's investment volume will amount to Eur 125 million, out of which Eur 52.5 million will be own funds, while Eur 72.5 million - loaned funds.
The company is going to reach the rated capacity of 376,000 cubic meters of OSB by late 2012.
Safwood is already running two mills in Russia, acquired sawmilling Syktyvkarskiy LDK and a greenfield investment project, Syktyvkar particleboard mill.
