Raute’s 3Q net sales decreased to Euro 33.7 million

Raute Corporation’s 3Q 2019 net sales amounted to Euro 33.7 million, compared to Euro 47.9 million in the 3Q 2018, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Operating profit in the 3Q 2019 was Euro 1.7 million positive and accounted for 5.1% of net sales. The result was Euro 1.4 million positive, and earnings per share were Euro +0.33.

The order intake in the 3Q 2019, Euro 73 million, was at a very good level, owing to an exceptionally large mill-scale order at the end of the period. Without this order, the order intake would have been very low.

Net sales for January-September 2019 totaled Euro 112 million, down 12% from the first nine months of 2018.

Operating profit was Euro 6.6 million positive and accounted for 5.9%. The decline in profitability can be attributed to investments in future operations, the extra costs of a few delayed projects and the decline in net sales on the comparison period.
