ND Paper plans to re-start PM 25 at its Biron, Wisconsin mill. This machine was idled in April of 2023. With the successful conversion of PM 26 at Biron to recycled packaging and the growing demand for ND Paper’s packaging products, the Company to add the capacity of PM 25 back to its portfolio.

The machine was rebuilt in 2019 and will be capable of making recycled containerboard and recycled kraft paper. This will add additional capacity to the existing recycled packaging product portfolio when the machine starts up in the 2nd half of 2025.

The 100% recycled furnish is supplied by a newly built 1,400-ton OCC pulping facility and a newly build 700-ton OCC pulping facility.

The mill has made recycled packaging since PM 25 was converted from coated publication papers in 2018. PM 26 was converted from coated publication papers in 2022.
