Juha Jumppanen has been appointed EVP, Metsä Forest as of November 1, 2021. Metsä Forest is responsible for Metsä Group’s wood sourcing and forest services.
Jumppanen has worked at Metsä Forest in various positions related to wood sourcing and forest services since 2000. He will move to his new role from the position of SVP, Finnish Wood Trade and Forest Services.
In his new position Jumppanen will report to Metsäliitto Cooperative's COO Juha Mäntylä.
Metsä Group produces renewable products from northern forests that replace the use of fossil raw materials. Metsäliitto Cooperative, the parent company of Metsä Group, is owned by approximately 100,000 Finnish forest owners.
