Mellanskog announces a price increase that extends across several ranges.

The adjustment includes:
- Price increase for timber, pulpwood and biofuel
- New contracting premium for timber
- New premium for delivery wood
- Premium for Responsible forestry is increased
- Price increase for timber, pulpwood and biofuel.

Timber:
- Business area west and east: list price increase of SEK 80/m³fub for pine and SEK 100/m³fub for spruce.
- Northern and central business area: list price increase of SEK 60/m³fub for pine and SEK 100/m³ fub for spruce.

Pulpwood:
List price increase on all pulpwood ranges of SEK 50/m³fub

Biofuel:
Firewood: list price increase SEK 85/m³fub

Grot and wood chips: list price increase SEK 40/m³s

New contracting premium for timber in regeneration felling: SEK 80/m³fub.

New premium for delivery wood
Premium of SEK 80/m³fub for pine and spruce timber assortment applies to measured timber on delivery timber contracts during the period 1 July 2024 – 30 November 2024.

The industry's high demand for Swedish forest raw materials has enabled Mellanskog to negotiate higher prices and more favorable premiums.

“Our association is growing and so are the financial benefits we can offer our members. Through this historically wide increase, we can supply the industry with sought-after Swedish forest raw material while at the same time strengthening the profitability of, among other things, the family foresters on the farm and the self-employed, as well as motivating more of our forest owners to certify their forest,” says Mellanskog CEO Fredrik Munter.

Mellanskog is a forest owners' association with an operating area from Gotland in the south to Härjedalen in the north of Sweden.
