LP Building Solutions appoints executive vice president and general manager of siding Jason Ringblom as president, a newly created role that consolidates all manufacturing and commercial operations under his leadership beginning April 7. This structural shift also eliminates North American business general manager roles, according to LP Building Solutions.

Ringblom will report directly to LP chair and chief executive Brad Southern and lead the integration of the company’s siding and OSB segments. The unified structure aims to streamline operations, enhance customer service, and accelerate LP’s strategic goals.

As president, Ringblom will define the new organization, appoint leadership, and align processes to support the transition. LP general manager of South America Frederick Price will now report to Ringblom.

The consolidation affects all market-facing activities and enables LP to optimize its product portfolio—including siding, structural solutions, and OSB—under a single leadership framework. The company stated that financial reporting segments will remain unchanged for now.

Ringblom has over 20 years of experience at LP, including roles as general sales manager, vice president of OSB sales and marketing, and general manager of both OSB and siding. He has served on LP’s executive team for eight years and now leads over 4,300 employees in this expanded role.

Alongside Ringblom’s promotion, LP has appointed Craig Sichling as senior vice president and chief commercial officer, and named Jeremy Sellers, Mitch Kingston, and Cody Austell to new vice president positions overseeing national accounts, field sales, and supply chain and customer experience, respectively.
