Kemira’s Board of Directors and President & CEO Jari Rosendal have agreed that Jari Rosendal will leave his position as the President & CEO latest during 2024. Kemira’s Board has decided to initiate the search for his successor.
Kemira announced earlier that Jari Rosendal is on sick leave for the time being. Kemira’s Board of Directors has appointed Petri Castrén as Interim President & CEO as of July 18, 2023. He will be in the interim role until Jari Rosendal returns to work or the new President & CEO starts. Petri Castrén has been Kemira’s CFO and a member of the Management Board since 2013. He will continue as CFO in addition to his new role.
Kemira Oyj’s Group General Counsel, Deputy CEO Jukka Hakkila assumed the duties of the President & CEO between July 11, 2023 and July 17, 2023 based on Kemira’s articles of association.
