Katerra is expanding its manufacturing footprint to serve the South and Central U.S. markets with a new 600,000 square-foot building components factory in San Marcos, Texas, the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The San Marcos factory will create more than 500 full-time jobs. Construction of the San Marcos factory is slated to begin in early 2020, with production starting in 2021. Katerra also intends to establish a manufacturing presence on the East Coast for projects in the region.
