Weyerhaeuser Company announced the appointment of David M. Wold as Senior Vice President and CFO, effective immediately. Wold has served as vice president and chief accounting officer since May 2019, and he replaces Nancy Loewe, who is leaving the company.
David M. Wold has been vice president and chief accounting officer since May 2019. Wold joined Weyerhaeuser in November 2013 and has held a series of accounting and finance leadership roles with increasing responsibility, including serving as Corporate Controller from March 2018 to May 2019. Prior to joining the company, Wold served as vice president of finance for Verdiem Corporation, a privately held technology company, from September 2011 to November 2013, and he previously spent nine years with the accounting firm of KPMG.
Weyerhaeuser Company, one of the world's largest private owners of timberlands, began operations in 1900. The Company owns or controls approximately 11 million acres of timberlands in the U.S. and manages additional timberlands under long-term licenses in Canada.
