U.S. kitchen cabinet sales declined 1.6% in October 2023 compared to the previous month. The year-over-year revenues among survey participants saw 6.8% dip in October compared to the figures from 2022, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA).
According to the KCMA's monthly Trend of Business Survey, the total sales reported by respondents for October amounted to $233.3 thousand. Breaking down this figure, custom sales accounted for $58.3 thousand, reflecting 7.8% year-on-year decrease.
Semi-custom sales also saw a decline of 5.9%, amounting to $133.9 thousand, while stock sales plummeted by 8%, reaching $41.0 thousand.
The year-to-date sales for survey participants slightly decreased by 0.7% to $2.38 million in October 2023. Custom sales contributed $651.8 thousand, semi-custom sales reached $1.35 million, and stock sales amounted to $381.9 thousand.
The estimated sales for the overall market in October were reported at $1.40 million. For the year-to-date period, the overall market estimated sales were $14.70 million.
