US LBM, a major distributor of specialty building materials in the United States, has acquired Walker Lumber & Supply, a top building products distributor based in Nashville. The deal marks US LBM’s first location in Tennessee, expanding its reach in the Southeast. Walker Lumber & Supply, founded in 1949, serves residential and commercial builders, contractors, and DIY customers across Central Tennessee. QS Capital Advisors acted as Walker Lumber’s exclusive financial advisor on the transaction.
Walker Lumber & Supply will continue its operations under the leadership of Ray Hayles and Scott McMillan. The company was recognized as Dealer of the Year by LBM Journal in 2023. US LBM President and CEO L.T. Gibson stated that the acquisition strengthens the company’s ability to support the growing Southeast region.
