Euro 3.7 million of roundwood was purchased from Slovenian private owners in August 2023, which was about 7% more than a month before (due to an increase in quantities of purchased roundwood), according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs went up by about 10% and of pulpwood by almost 2%. The values of purchased wood fuel and other industrial roundwood were slightly lower.

Compared to last August, the value of roundwood purchased from private owners decreased by about 30% (mainly due to lower average prices of purchased wood). The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs decreased by 34% and of pulpwood by almost 10%. The values of other purchased categories were almost the same as a year ago.
