Silva Timber filed for administration. A 'perfect storm' of the post-Covid slump, the invasion of Ukraine putting an end to Siberian Larch supply, and rising interest rates have contributed to an unsustainably low level of sales over the past year.
The Company entered administration and Richard Goodall, Director, and Anthony Collier, Partner, of FRP Advisory Trading Limited, were appointed as Joint Administrators.
The Company has ceased to trade and the Joint Administrators, together with appointed agents, Hilco Global, will proceed to realise the Company’s assets.
Founded in 2000, Silva Timber is one of the UK’s importers of speciality timber products.
