Södra Cell is increasing the price of its northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp in Europe to $1,220, effective 1 April 2021.
“The global NBSK market is very tight, and in Europe a robust demand is outpacing supply. This announcement reflects the overall market sentiment,” commented Henrik Wettergren, VP Marketing and Sales, Södra Cell.
Founded in 1938, Södra is Sweden’s largest forest-owner association, with 53,000 forest owners as its members.
