Södra appoints Jessica Nordin as new Head of Sustainability

Jessica Nordin assumes the role of new Head of Sustainability at Södra with responsibility for leading and developing Södra's total sustainability work going forward, company announced. A large focus will be on strengthening work and knowledge around biological diversity and sustainable forestry, which are important future issues for Södra.

Jessica Nordin most recently comes from the role of environmental manager at Södra Skog with responsibility for running and developing Södra's nature conservation and consideration work, a role she has had since 2021. She has previously been a climate and land use strategist at Sveaskog and an expert in issues related to the forest's climate benefits and sustainable forestry . She has also led several projects related to the development of markets for ecosystem services.

As head of sustainability, Jessica will lead and develop Södra's total sustainability work, where a major focus going forward will be on strengthening the work and knowledge around biological diversity and sustainable forestry, climate neutrality and sustainable resource use.
