Raute Corporation's FY 2024 net sales amounted to Euro 204.6 million, showing an increase of 40.7% from the last year. This was driven by the solid progress in project deliveries in the Wood Processing business and high demand in the Services business.
Europe accounted for 56% of net sales, North America for 22%, South America for 19%, Asia–Pacific for 3% and Russia for 0%. During the comparison period, Russia’s share of net sales was based on the adjustments from renegotiations with customers and the limits set by the sanctions.
The total order intake was Euro 121 million and included an order worth Euro 20 million from Latvian AmberBirch for the technology delivery of a birch veneer production plant expansion. Order intake is composed of 67% from Europe, 19% from North America, 5% from Asia–Pacific and 9% from South America.
Comparable EBITDA was Euro 19.8 million and comparable EBITDA margin was 9.1% in 2024. The increase was driven by improved efficiency through higher volumes (as well as the control of fixed costs). Comparable EBITDA improved in Wood Processing and Services, while declined in Analyzers.
EBITDA was Euro 19.1 million. Items affecting comparability (IACs) in EBITDA totaled Euro 0.7 million. The operating profit was Euro 13.7 million in 2024.
Guidance statement for 2025
Raute’s 2025 net sales are expected to be between Euro 190–220 million and comparable EBITDA between Euro 17–24 million.
