Ponsse raises its result guidance for 2021

Ponsse Plc updates its estimate on the result guidance for 2021. The company estimates that its Euro-denominated operating result in 2021 will be significantly higher than in 2020. Ponsse’s operating result in 2020 was Euro 57.1 million.

Ponsse has published its earlier result guidance in its financial statements bulletin on 16 February 2021, at which time the company estimated that its Euro-denominated operating result in 2021 would be slightly higher than in 2020.

“The demand for PONSSE forest machines and the business situation of our customers have been at an excellent level throughout the year. The greatest challenges in our operations have been related to the availability of parts and components. We have succeeded reasonably well in a very challenging situation, and our factory in Vieremä has been operating according to our production programme. The manufacturing volumes of new PONSSE forest machines are increasing at a good pace, compared with the exceptional crisis year of 2020. There is still great uncertainty concerning the availability of certain component groups. The pressure associated with the rising cost of parts and components continues to be strong. The excellent growth of our service business and attachment harvester head sales has contributed to the positive development of our profitability”, says Juho Nummela, President and CEO of Ponsse Plc.

Ponsse will publish its interim report for the 3Q on 26 October 2021.

Ponsse Plc is a company specialising in the sales, manufacture, servicing and technology of cut-to-length method forest machines.
