National Timber Group (NTG) announces the appointment of Scott Cairns as NTG’s Group Chief Executive.
Well known to many across the timber industry, Scott brings a strong track record of transformational growth and financial delivery, gained from a career spanning almost 40 years. Scott has spent much of his career with the Donaldson Group, where he was Group Chief Executive until 2020 and more recently, a non-executive member of their board. During his 26 years with that firm, initially leading the timber and merchanting businesses, Scott led a number of companies to become market leaders within their categories. During his tenure as Group CEO, the Donaldson Group doubled its annual turnover to over GBP 230 million.
The National Timber Group is primarily engaged in timber importing and the manufacture and merchanting of timber and related products in the UK.
