Katerra, a technology-enabled construction company, announced that Kris Beason has been appointed as Head of Construction for the Pacific Northwest. In her new role, Beason will be responsible for growing Katerra’s team and overseeing project delivery in this key region, which includes Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Central to this role will be continuing to help scale the delivery of Katerra’s factory-built multifamily housing and mass timber projects, as well as other active market sectors in the region. Beason is succeeding Greg Smith, who will be transitioning to lead project delivery for Katerra’s factory-driven Multifamily Residential Platform.
With more than three decades of experience in construction management, Kris Beason is recognized for her ability to assemble high-performing teams and deliver large-scale projects across industry sectors. Prior to Katerra, she held multiple executive roles at some of the world’s most prominent development and construction firms, including Skanska and M.A. Mortenson Company.
