Kamps, Inc. announces the strategic acquisition of Twin City Pallet, Inc., a pallet manufacturer and recycler based in Hastings, Minnesota. Twin City is a full spectrum wood packaging and recycling organization, specializing in standard and custom wooden pallet services. Twin City is Kamps’ second acquisition in the greater Minneapolis-Saint Paul area in past 12 months.
Twin City was originally established in the mid-1970s in St. Paul, Minnesota. In late 2022, Twin City moved its operations south-east of its original St. Paul location to an upgraded facility in Hastings. As an additional sustainable service to its customers, Twin City recycles 100% of all inbound materials. This includes wood, plastic, cardboard, and metal. The organization currently employs 56 individuals and owns and operates over 150 trailers.
The acquisition of Twin City expands Kamps’ national presence to 62 asset-based locations, supported by over 8,000 trailers and over 4,000 employees.
