Holmen is reorganizing its leadership to enhance its competitive edge, company said in a statement. Deputy CEO and CFO Anders Jernhall will now focus on strategic initiatives as Deputy CEO, while Stefan Loréhn is set to become CFO in the spring of 2025.

– By streamlining the roles, we strengthen the ability to develop the Group, said Holmen’s President and CEO, Henrik Sjölund. He highlighted Jernhall’s analytical and strategic capabilities as pivotal to the company’s growth. Loréhn, who is currently CFO at LKAB and has a long history with Holmen, will bring valuable experience to the role.

Anders Jernhall emphasized the importance of long-term planning in navigating the challenges of transitioning to a fossil-free future, stating, "Being able to dedicate more time to Holmen's long-term development feels crucial." He also noted his close working relationship with Loréhn, expressing confidence in his contribution to the management team.
