Cabinet manufacturers reported overall cabinet sales of were up 7.5% for July 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA).
The total sales reported by respondents for July amounted to $230.0 thousand. Custom sales accounted for $61.0 thousand, reflecting 8.1% year-on-year increase.
Semi-custom sales also saw a growth of 8.7%, amounting to $131.4 thousand, and stock sales increased by 2.7%, reaching $37.5 thousand.
The year-to-date sales for survey participants decreased by 2.5% to $1.66 million in July 2024. Custom sales contributed $426.1 thousand, or 6.7% decline, semi-custom sales reached $929.6 thousand, down 1.7%, while stock sales amounted to $299.9 thousand, or 1.3% increase.
The estimated sales for the overall market in July were reported at $995.0 thousand. For the year-to-date period, the overall market estimated sales were $7.9 million.
