Cabinet manufacturers reported overall cabinet sales of were down 3.4% for October 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA).
The total sales reported by respondents for October amounted to $228.7 thousand. Custom sales accounted for $60.6 thousand, reflecting 5.3% year-on-year increase.
Semi-custom sales saw a decrease of 4.6%, amounting to $127.8 thousand, and stock sales down 10.9%, reaching $40.3 thousand.
The year-to-date sales for survey participants also decreased by 2.8% to $2.35 million in October 2024. Custom sales contributed $613.3 thousand, or 4.4% decline, semi-custom sales reached $1.32 million, down 2.1%, and stock sales amounted to $415.3 thousand, or 2.6% drop.
The estimated sales for the overall market in October were reported at $940.0 thousand. For the year-to-date period, the overall market estimated sales were $10.9 million.
