Teal Jones is taking a seven-day production curtailment at its Surrey lumber operations in Canada. The company’s coastal lumber operations are being impacted by tight log inventories, high stumpage rates and challenging lumber markets.

Log supply was constrained by weather earlier in the year. The company continues to work hard to secure fibre to support consistent operations in the face of tight fibre availability, high costs and challenging market conditions.

Teal Jones is British Columbia’s largest privately-owned coastal forestry company.
