Profura AB group sells, together with BAXAB, Green Wood Sverige AB, with the associated subsidiaries Balungstrands Sågverk AB and Bäckebrons Sågverk AB. The purchasing company is the German Ziegler Group. Management and staff remain unchanged and the idea is to continue the Profura Group's growth journey.
The sawmills currently have an annual processing capacity of around 700,000 solid m3 of logs on a total of more than 35 hectares of operating space.
Ziegler is a family-owned company in the third generation with 2,230 employees and a turnover of SEK 10 billion. The company conducts operations in most wood-related industries, where the sawmill operation amounts to 1.2 million cubic meters of sawn timber.
