Euro 4.7 million of roundwood was purchased from Slovenian private owners in June 2023, which was about 26% less than a month before (due to a decrease in both, quantities and average prices of purchased roundwood), according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs went down by about 29%. The values of other purchased categories were also lower.
Compared to last June, the value of roundwood purchased from private owners slightly increased (by about 1%). The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs decreased by about 7%, while the values of other purchased categories went up: of pulpwood by about 40%, of wood fuel by about 42% and of other industrial roundwood by about 174%.
