Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in 2020 was worth Euro 46.1 million, which is 15% less than in 2019, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The values were lower for all categories of purchased roundwood except for pulpwood. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by almost 19%, of other industrial roundwood by about 18% and of wood fuel by about 13%. The value of purchased pulpwood was higher by about 2%.

Sawlogs and veneer logs represented by far the highest share (71.6%) in the total value of roundwood purchased in 2020; the share of pulpwood was 18.3%, of wood fuel 7.9% and of other industrial roundwood 2.1%.
