In 2022, the companies Skånetimmer, Skånetimmer Bioenergi and JGA Skog will merge to form a new forest organization with operations throughout southern Sweden. All three companies are already part of the OM Andersson Group together with, among others, the sawmill JG Andersson's Söner AB, one of the largest family-owned sawmills in southern Sweden.
The name of the new organization will be JGA Skog. The business will continue to be conducted with the same local roots as before from its existing offices in Hässleholm, Linneryd and Emmaboda and with the same staff. All ongoing transactions are ongoing as usual and the content of signed agreements is not affected. For the agreements that survive after the merger has been completed, which is currently planned for the second half of 2022, JGA Skog AB will enter as a contracting party.
