The "first board" for the fourth short-cycle press KT 700 took place which the Egger Group has ordered from Siempelkamp.
In February 2018 Egger and Siempelkamp signed a contract for the new delivery of a high-performance KT 700 short-cycle press for the laminating of particle boards. The delivery includes a multi-piston short-cycle press (KT 700) including raw board and finished board handling with the corresponding automation. The main technical features: 180 pressings per hour, maximum specific pressing pressure 700 N/cm². The heating plate format is 2,200 x 5,700 mm, the number of press pistons 40.
Egger Rambervillers, production site since 1974, is located in the Vosges Mountains and has been part of the Egger Group since 2000. The site with 400 employees produces raw chipboard and melamine resin-coated boards, cut-to-size panels and finished furniture components.
