The Sudoma Sawmill, Dedovichi, Pskov region, Russia, produced and shipped the first batch of thermally-modified pine lumber to Australia. The company entered a new foreign market, a large house-building company acted as a customer.
Oleg Fokin, CFO the Sudoma Sawmill, says: “Australia has become one of the new and promising destinations for us. We have shipped the first batch of thermo-modified products, the customer will use it for exterior and interior decoration of houses. In the future, we intend to develop cooperation with a partner, as well as expand the entire range of our products across the country.”
Sudoma Sawmill is the largest manufacturer of thermally-modified sawn timber in Russia and Eastern Europe.
