Kodiak Building Partners announced significant changes in its information technology (IT) leadership, reinforcing the company’s commitment to leveraging technology for operational efficiency and sustained growth.
After over a decade of building and leading Kodiak’s IT organization, Brad Becker, Kodiak’s Chief Information Officer, will retire from his current position. Becker has been a cornerstone of Kodiak’s technological advancements and strategic IT initiatives since 2013. He will continue to serve in an advisory role until the end of 2024, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing support for key projects.
Chad Finnigan, VP of IT & Cybersecurity, and Andrew Roise, VP of Enterprise Applications, will now lead the IT department. Their extensive experience and forward-thinking approach will be instrumental as they guide the IT department in developing and implementing technologies that enhance operational efficiency, improve employee and customer experiences, and drive business growth.
Roise and Finnigan will report to Cliff Shimer, SVP of LBM Southeast at Kodiak. Shimer, known for his exceptional ability to bridge the gap between operations and technology at American Builders Supply, will be taking on a larger leadership role within the IT department. His expertise in integrating technology with operational processes is vital in achieving Kodiak’s continuous improvement objectives. Shimer will also continue to lead the LBM Southeast division.
