China’s wooden furniture exports fell 84% year-on-year to $3.104 billion in the 1Q 2020, as ITTO reported.
The main markets were the USA ($882 million), Japan ($254 million), UK ($211 million), Australia ($188 million), South Korea ($150 million) and Canada ($119 million) all dropping around 80% compared to the 1Q 2019.
China imports small amounts of furniture which, in the 1Q 2020, were worth $203 million, down 80% year-on-year.
