Canadian manufacturing sales declines 2.7% in October

Preliminary results from Statistics Canada show total manufacturing sales fell 2.7% in October. The largest declines occurred in the subsectors of oil and coal, machinery and transportation equipment.

This score was calculated based on a weighted response rate of 69.1%. The average final survey response rate over the previous 12 months was 94.8%. This preliminary figure is subject to a higher frequency of revisions than the regular monthly release.
