Roseburg announces that Stuart Gray has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. The company’s ongoing growth in a complex and fast-paced business environment drove Roseburg’s executive team to create the new role to leverage Gray’s skillset and experience.
Roseburg’s executive team will remain intact and move forward with their current roles and responsibilities. As COO, Gray will assume oversight for operations, sales and HR/EHS. The three current senior vice presidents for those functions will fall within the scope of the COO.
With deep roots in the construction and building supply industry, Gray joined Roseburg in 2017 as senior vice president and general counsel, overseeing the company’s strategic business development, compliance and environmental teams. He spent 12 years in roles of progressive responsibility with The Home Depot Inc.’s legal department, and two more as vice president and deputy general counsel at Sears Holding Corporation.
Roseburg Forest Products is a privately-owned company and one of North America’s leading producers of particleboard, medium density fiberboard and thermally fused laminates. Roseburg also manufactures softwood and hardwood plywood, lumber, LVL and I-joists.
