Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in January 2021 was worth Euro 2.6 million, which is about 26% less than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 15%, of pulpwood by almost 50%, of wood fuel by 21% and of other industrial roundwood by about 15%.
The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in January 2021 was 62% lower than in January 2020 (unfavourable weather conditions were the main reason for the lower purchase of wood). The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by almost 64%, of pulpwood by almost 30%, of wood fuel by about 80% and of other industrial roundwood by almost 68%.
