Raute's 3Q 2021 net sales amounted to Euro 37.9 million, compared to Euro 27.9 million in the 3Q 2020. Technology services’ share of total net sales, Euro 15, was exceptionally high, thanks to modernization projects. Technology services accounted for 39% of net sales.

Operating profit in the 3Q 2021 was Euro 1.9 million positive and accounted for 5.1% of net sales. The result before taxes was Euro 1.9 million positive, and earnings per share were Euro 0.33.

The total order intake in the 3Q, Euro 58 million, reached a very good level. The most significant new orders were for machinery and equipment for the production process of a birch plywood mill, worth approximately Euro 18 million, and machinery and equipment for the expansion of a birch plywood mill, worth roughly Euro 16 million. Both orders are for Russia. The volume of other orders was also good, at Euro 24 million. Orders that were delayed due to the market disruption caused by the global pandemic are now starting up.

The order book increased during the third quarter by Euro 21 million, amounting to a record Euro 150 million at the end of the period.
