Pankaboard announces that its PankaPlex, an OBA-free uncoated specialty cartonboard designed for the food service industry, has now received both home and industrial compostability certifications issued by TÜV Austria.
The conformity of PankaPlex is guaranteed by the procedures for awarding and use of the “OK compost HOME” and “OK compost INDUSTRIAL” conformity marks up to and including 240 g/m2.
Pankaboard manufactures high-quality cartonboards for packaging, various graphical and industrial applications and food service products. All produced board grades are made solely from virgin fibers sourced locally from sustainably managed forests for minimized carbon footprint.
