In the latest update from the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA), August witnessed a notable 12.5% surge in cabinet sales compared to the previous month. However, the year-over-year revenues among survey participants saw a significant 7.4% dip in August compared to the figures from 2022.

According to the KCMA's monthly Trend of Business Survey, the total sales reported by respondents for August amounted to $237.3 thousand. Breaking down this figure, custom sales accounted for $64.3 thousand, reflecting a modest 2.6% year-on-year increase. On the other hand, semi-custom sales saw a decline of 3%, amounting to $133.5 thousand, while stock sales plummeted by 29.5%, reaching $39.5 thousand.

The year-to-date sales for survey participants stood at $1.91 million through August. Custom sales contributed $528.2 thousand, semi-custom sales reached $1.08 million, and stock sales amounted to $304.7 thousand.

The estimated sales for the overall market in August were reported at $1.49 million. For the year-to-date period, the overall market estimated sales were $11.85 million.
