Swedish sawmill company Fiskarhedens Trävaru AB names Magnus Larsson as new CEO. He succeeds his father, Olle Larsson, who has run the company since 1988.
Magnus has spent a large part of his upbringing near the sawmill and has good knowledge of all the components. He has worked for the company during the summer from an early age and worked full time since 2010, first in the production department at raw sorting and as a boiler attendant, then on the sales and marketing side after a break in Canada. For the past three years, as Deputy CEO, he has worked extensively throughout the business, side by side with his father.
Olle Larsson will remain in the company, among other things as Chairman of the Board and in other roles both within the Group but also continued in the regional business community.
The family business also includes Magnus Larsson's two brothers, Mattias and Jonas Larsson, who both work at the sawmill.
Fiskarheden is one of Sweden's largest private sawmills with the most modern technology.
